Attending this year's HGP event at Watkins Glen were Rick Carlino with his stunning Hesketh (just back from Europe), as well as his March 811 for protégé Derek Jones to drive; Hamish Somerville with his Williams FW07 and Brabham BT37, and Paul Flowers' Tyrrell was here as well, although just for a quick test.

On test day, sheltered from the miserable wet weather, Rick's stunning 1975 Hesketh 308C awaits his verdict -
to run or not to run in the rain?

After Rick's Hesketh was retired
for the weekend, Hamish offered up his
   Brabham BT37 for Rick to drive.
