LE SOMMET DES LÉGENDES Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada June 12-15, 2007	It was wet for a start....

We went to Canada with a full contingent of cars this year – Hamish Somerville's Williams FW07, his Lola T70, his GRD 72S and his Brabham BT37 (to be driven by guest-driver from the UK, James Hanson); Pete Gulick's Williams FW08, Rick Carlino's Chevron B36 and March 811, and Bernard Bradpiece's Merlyn F/F. Also under our care this weekend was Jeff Lewis and his McLaren M26 (still with us from Dave Vegher's stable).


The Brabham awaits Hamish's guest driver James Hanson of Speedmaster Cars Ltd.

Accustomed to torrential rain (this summer particularly!), James was not deterred from taking Hamish's Brabham BT37 out for qualifying, securing pole position for the Historic Grand Prix race. (Pete & Hamish chose not to get their feet wet.)

	Bernard packs up the Merlyn and goes home when the weather turns wet. (He should have waited a little longer!)

Could it be starting to clear?

Continuing the car-swapping this weekend, Pete Gulick takes the wheel of Hamish's Lola T70.....
