TEAM-LCR REPORTS

Zippo Historic Grand Prix
with Indy Racing League
Watkins Glen International Raceway

Watkins Glen, New York            September 23 - 25, 2005

Two weeks after the U.S. Zippo Vintage Grand Prix,
Hamish Somerville returns to the Glen with his Williams FW07
-- this time for the Zippo Historic Grand Prix and a battle with Bobby Rahal

During the Inaugural Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix presented by Argent Mortgage, more than 30 authentic Formula One cars returned to the legendary 3.37-mile grand prix course at Watkins Glen International for the newly titled Zippo Historic Grand Prix.

The spectacular F1 cars that competed between 1966 and 1983 ran on the track all weekend. Virtually all the HGP cars had raced at Watkins Glen International during the United States Grand Prix years. Headlining the HGP entry were the USGP winning team cars of Jackie Stewart, Tyrrell 004, 1972; Carlos Reutemann, Brabham BT-44, 1974; Niki Lauda, Ferrari 312T, 1975; James Hunt, McLaren M-26, 1976-1977; Gilles Villeneuve, Ferrari 312 T-5, 1979; and Alan Jones, Williams FW07B, 1980, now owned and raced by our own Hamish Somerville.

Hamish has pole, but loses his lead when Rahal bends the rules a tad
and passes him in Turn 1...

In the end, all is forgiven (but not necessarily forgotten...),
as Rahal takes the win, and Hamish, a close second.
