About Our Company

For over 20 years, we have been specializing in the restoration and preparation of vintage and historic race cars, principally from the early 60s to around the early 80s (although earlier and later cars have passed through our shop; i.e., from a Lotus 6 to a Spice C1 3.5 litre DFR-engined prototype).

We have a special fondness for sports racers, in particular, Chevron. We do, however, work on most makes and models, including Lotus, Elva, March, Brabham, Sauber, and Toj. Earlier sports cars that featured heavily in our program are Lotus 23s and Elva Mk7s.

More recently, our emphasis has been on F1 cars, including two Williams cars, the FW07 and FW08, a Surtees TS9B, a Tyrrell 011, a March 811, a McLaren M19, a Lotus T79 and a Brabham BT37.

As we have a growing support program, we also supply parts and materials for a multitude of cars. All component parts are made here in the USA, usually by subcontractors in the aero-space industry. Such companies are accustomed to very high-quality machining techniques.

Restorations recently undertaken in our shop include a Lola T70 Spyder, Brabham BT29 F/B, Chevron B42-BMW (ex-Giacamo Agostini car), Toj 205C, Eagle F5000, Lotus 51, Lotus Elan S1 vintage racer, Chevron B36 ex-ROC team car, and a Lotus Super 7.

Other restoration projects include a Chevron B63, a couple of Tiga S2000 cars, a Chevron B21, a March 75S, a March 782, and the ex-John Miles/Willmont Lotus 26R. Check out THE CARS for photos and details.
